About

Zac Townsend @ 12:20 am on October, 11

Like so many blogs, this space is really just a place for my musings. I’ve created several blogs over the years — ranging from the intensely political to the seriously personal — and I see this blog as aimless, although not listless.

The old TFL had as it’s saying: “To lean forward is to stand on the edge of modern thought—that place where new ideas are forged, and at once, challenged.” I don’t remember who wrote that sentence, it sounds like Jon. No matter who wrote it, the sentiment continues to be a good goal. I hope that this space will entertain, inform, cajole, and maybe inspire.

My name, for those curious, is Zac Townsend. I graduated from Brown University in 2009 and I work as a civic sector consultant. I’m also an occasional student. My views on this blog are my own, and in no way represent my employers or our clients. Some of my friends will be writing guest posts here, and similarly brief bios and disclaimers will be put on here as needed.
